These lizards are very territorial and are best kept in pairs or alone. Temperature is kept on 78 - 80F with 10-13 hours of light. These lizards quench their thirst by licking water from the plants or from the sides of the terrarium. Popular food items for this interesting lizard are snails and larger insects like crickets, cockroaches and locusts.
