Green and Black Poison arrow frogs can have been fruit flies, crickets, small mealworms, and termites. Some people choose to feed their frogs with pinkie mice. A diet of only pinkie mice can lead to vitamin A toxicity, so it is essential to offer a variety of food items. An excellent way to ensure your frog is getting a well-rounded diet is to purchase a quality commercial frog food and supplement it with live insects.
When setting up the terrarium, it is essential to use a substrate to hold moisture but not become waterlogged. A small piece of cork bark or a plastic plant pot turned upside down will work nicely. A good option is coco fiber, which can be found at most pet stores. The terrarium should also be outfitted with a hiding spot, as frogs like to have a place to retreat when they feel threatened.
Green and Black Poison Arrow frogs need a warm, humid environment in terms of temperature. Humidity should be kept between 60 and 80%. The terrarium should be kept between 75 and 85 degrees Fahrenheit during the day, with a drop of 10-15 degrees at night. A reptile heat lamp can be used to maintain the correct temperature and humidity levels.
So if you're interested in owning a Green and Black Poison Arrow frog, be sure to do your research and set up their terrarium correctly! With proper care, they can make fascinating and rewarding pets.

I got my child a garter snake from Petsmart, and it didn't look too good. My child's favorite website is reptilesncritters.com. She looked at the care guide on the website, and now the snake is the cutest, funniest, most active snake you would ever look at. Plus she had five little, healthy, active baby garter snakes! She was pregnet when we got her! Thank you reptilesncritters!
