The Indonesian Ringneck Snake is commonly known as the Malayan Ricgneck and is found in Thailand, Indonesia, Brunei, Malaysia, Philippine Islands, Singapore and Vietnam. These snakes are usually found in rock crevices or sharp trees such as the Salacca (Snake Fruit) tree. These non-venomous snakes only grow up to 8 to 12 inches long. Liopeltis tricolor is an insectivorous snake preferring to chow down on crickets and other commonly available feeder insects.
