Sulawesi Rat Snakes, also known as Black Tail Rat snakes for their distinctive black colored tails, are imported from the Island of Sulawesi in Indonesia. These Rat snakes are green when they are babies and turn black as they get older.
You will receive two snakes (1.1) with this purchase.
The Sulawesi Rat snake is aggressive and will snap at you if you try and pick it up. Also, wild-caught specimens like the ones we carry are prone to dying to the usual pre-existing parasites they pick up in the wild. We do not treat these snakes for parasites prior to shipping to "buyer beware" when making your decision to purchase this snake.
